This blue '65 still has its original 6-cylinder engine but without the heads.

A trio of Blue Ovals (a Bronco, Mustang II and a Galaxie) and a Chevy Cavalier take a long snooze deep in the woods at the Fairlane Farm. The 1966 Galaxie, which was last tagged in 1993, has lots of good parts left and still has it's 428-4v and transmission.

A close-up of the 1966 Galaxie in the above. Note the engine badge on the lower left fender.

Left: 1965 2-door hardtop that is missing its 289-2v and transmission.

Right: 1965 Sports Coupe 2-door hardtop that looks ready to run after a pass through the car wash. The car has a 289-2v/auto with an excellent interior with buckets and a good console.

Another view of the above, right.

Left: 1965 Sport Coupe with relatively hard-to-find "A" code 289 automatic, that has 140K miles. It has no front seats and a damaged console, but could be brought back with some TLC.

Right: 1967 convertible with a 289-2v/auto. The car needs a complete restoration, but all parts are there. The floor pans are solid, the dash pad is in excellent shape, and the owner is tossing in a new top and new starter. It was last driven in the autumn of 1999, with the engine running well and the transmission crisp and smooth in all gears.

This 1965 Mercury Calinente (?) is a rolling chassis (no engine, no transmission, no interior) with some good metal and glass left before it says its final good-byes. Doing the paperwork is my very able and beautiful assistant, Fran Mack.

Another view of the above.

This 1966 Fairlane Country Squire is relatively rare (11,558 made) and with 101K miles it is in excellent shape inside and outside. It has a 289-2v/auto and with a good bath could be ready for the next Carlisle meet as a "Project in Progress."

Another view of the above.

This 1964 "F" code (260-2v) 2-door coupe has 115K miles with a good interior. Add some TLC and its ready for the road.

Left: This 1969 Torino has the GT package and came with a 289-2v/auto. The engine and transmission are gone but the body is solid. It was last tagged in Delaware in 1985.

Right A very rough-condition 1965 Sports Coupe with 289-2v/auto.
